Heidi Brar is a San Diego based artist working in painting, drawing, and digital art. Most recently her creative research has expanded to also explore AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) through the lense of painting and drawing. She received her B.F.A. from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and her M.F.A in Painting from the School of Art, Architecture + Design  at Indiana University, Bloomington.  She has taught at the College of William and Mary, Maryland Institute College of Art, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She currently teaches in the art departments at Grossmont College and California State University, San Marcos.
